TCI: Illegal Firearm Recovered
#Providenciales, June 17, 2019 – Turks and Caicos – According to reports, at 12:45 a.m. Monday June 17th, 2019, during a routine stop and search for illegal activity, Officers of the Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police Force Tactical Unit stopped a Silver Teana Car and recovered an illegal firearm and five rounds of ammunition, from the said vehicle.
The three men who occupied the vehicle were arrested on suspicion of keeping a firearm.
Investigations are ongoing.
