#Providenciales, May 29, 2019 – Turks and Caicos In a finale that will literally stop bellies grumbling and set mouths chewing, the Kiwanis Club and Graceway Supermarkets have been joined by ScotiaBank to feed not some but all of the GSAT candidates this year.

Five-hundred and forty-five students will sit the Grade Six Achievement Test, GSAT on Wednesday and Thursday and this 2019 squad of students across the country will mark the final lot to do so.  The Ministry of Education, in February confirmed that the GSAT will be discontinued and in its place will be introduced a new precursor for high school entry in the Turks and Caicos Islands.

On Thursday and Friday 545 healthy lunches will be provided for the children across the archipelago.  There are two breaks per day, and each day the children will receive a turkey sandwich, a fruit, juice, cookie and chicken drumette to ensure that nutritionally and physically, they are fit for the five examination papers.

Students will sit GSAT examinations in South Caicos, North Caicos, Providenciales and Grand Turk in this final year.
