Grand Turk firearm incident
Grand Turk, May 29, 2019 – Turks and Caicos – Police on Grand Turk are investigating two firearm incidents early Sunday, May 26th, 2019.
According to reports, a 19-year-old man said he was attacked by two armed men around 12:00 a.m. He was pistol whipped and hit in the head with a rock. The man was taken to the Cockburn Town Medical Centre for treatment.
A second firearm report came to police on the said date around 6:20 a.m., according to the 27-year-old complainant, shots were fired towards him on Duncombes Alley Grand Turk. There were no injuries reported in this incident.
Both reports are actively under investigation.
