#Providenciales, April 23, 2019 – Turks and Caicos – The country’s third murder victim
for 2019 may have driven himself to the police station and died there, turning
the Chalk Sound precinct into part of a homicide crime scene; ironically the
man was this month released from serving time at Her Majesty’s Prison on a
theft conviction.
Residents who happened by said they
saw the crime scene tape and the heightened police activity but was unaware
that such a serious investigation was underway.
In the TCI Police media report yesterday, it was said that: “A murder investigation is currently taking place following the shooting death of a 37-year old man who was shot in Five Cays, Monday April 22, 2019. 911 Central reported that after 3:30 a.m., a black Infinity car arrived at the Chalk Sound Police Station with what appeared to be a man with a gunshot wound on the side. The 37-year-old man was pronounced dead at 3:48 a.m.”

Still there are speculative perspectives
that someone may have taken the victim to the Police. Police are not giving any fine details but
Magnetic Media is told that at least one man was taken in for questioning and that
he has been released.
Magnetic Media is with-holding the identify of the man, until we are certain family is well aware of his violent demise.
