Swimmer dies at Coral Gardens Beach

On Thursday, a 64 -year-old Caucasian male was found floating in waters off Windsong Resort; Coral Gardens Beach.  A report to Magnetic Media is that natives tried to save the man, who was in the water without any diving gear. 

Police said: “CPR was performed and the patient was transported to the CHMC emergency room, where he was pronounced dead.”

It was unclear if the male was a guest to the country; his name and nationality were also unavailable at the time of our queries. 

Good Friday fire sends two men to the hospital

Two men were rushed to hospital in the wee hours of Good Friday morning say TCI Police.  Possibly having suffered smoke inhalation after a structure caught fire on Walter Cox Drive in Kew Town. 

“At around 2:30 a.m., Police and Fire officials responded to a fire on Friday April 19, 2019 along Walter Cox Driver, Providenciales.  On arrival officers observed fire coming from a section of a concrete dwelling structure.”

Ambulance transported the two men to the Cheshire Hall Medical Center and the cause of the fire is under investigation.

Beloved TCI woman dies on JetBlue Flight

Scores of residents gathered at the Providenciales morgue today once news spread of the sudden and shocking death of a beloved Turks and Caicos Islands woman.  The woman was taken from a JetBlue flight earlier today believed to have passed away during the flight from Ft Lauderdale, Florida. 

Some family and friends were inconsolable on the scene.

It was said the woman was travelling with family at the time of the unspeakable tragedy.
