TCI: Nearly 400 drivers ticketed in seven days
#Providenciales, February 19, 2019 – Turks and Caicos – In the span of one week, Operation Drive Safe, an initiative by the Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police nabbed 376 drivers in breach of the law. While 46 of these drivers got off with a warning, others will face fines or worse for breaking Turks and Caicos road traffic laws.
During the February 1, 2019 National Security Council meeting, the tally of violations was revealed and among those arrested were 11 illegal migrants.
