TCI: Marine Branch Intercept Sloop
#Providenciales, January 14, 2019 – Turks and Caicos – A total of 103 Haitian Nationals are currently at the Detention Centre following the interception of an illegal vessel early Monday, January 14th, 2019 around 4:30 a.m.
According to reports, the vessel was detected by the Coastal Radar System, south of Five Cays Providenciales.
The Marine Branch M/V Sea Pursuit escorted the illegal vessel containing 72 males, 29 females and 2 minors to the South Dock port for processing and repatriation.
