TCI: Illegal Haitian Sloop made landfall on Salt Cay

#SaltCay, January 17, 2019 – Turks and Caicos – At 12:50 am today (Thursday 17th January 2019), An unknown caller reported that an illegal Haitian sloop landed on the island of Salt Cay. As a result of this, Police and Immigration Officers responded to the island and confirmed the report.

A total of 167 persons (35 females 132 Males) have been captured so far. Both Law Enforcement Agencies are still on Salt Cay conducting more searches.
