o An in depth awareness of the state of the TCI Economy

The Conference is being organized by Attorney at Law and Entrepreneur Tremmaine Harvey and Diandra Mills Investments Manager at the National Insurance Board.  Of the conference, Harvey had this to say“Financial management and financial literacy are necessary components of knowledge that one must possess to succeed in the modern world.  However on a collective scale they are notably missing from the educational system of the Turks and Caicos Islands.

For those who are proactive and seek to take their financial education into their own hands, they are forced to turn to financial coaches, videos and books authored by persons from foreign countries whose advice is specifically tailored to those foreign economies.  While helpful conceptually, most of the advice does not specifically cater to the peculiarities of the Turks and Caicos economy.  To that end, have envisioned and translate that vision into an Economic Empowerment Conference for the Turks and Caicos Islands.”

Mills chimed in “Economic empowerment at the personal level is vital to the broader economic development of a country.  Arming citizens with the knowledge necessary to improve their economic status and to create a wealth system is the chief goal of this conference.  We anticipate that this conference will become an opportunity for quality dialogue that will bring awareness, learning and growth to participants to be able to break the barriers limiting us from realizing our full potential.”

The registration fee for persons wishing to attend is $150.00 and will cover a day and a half of speaker presentations and panel discussions, coffee breaks, lunch and a networking cocktail.
