TCI: Marine Branch Successfully Intercept Haitian Sloop

#Providenciales, December 26, 2018 – Turks and Caicos – An Illegal vessel containing 132 illegal Haitian migrants was intercepted on Sunday, December 23rd, 2018 after detection by the Coastal Radar System at 12:22 a.m. in the area of the bluff.

The Marine Branch M/V Sea Guardian and Sea Pursuit successfully intercepted a 40ft blue power wooden boat with 102 males and 30 females onboard.

The detainees were transported to the South Dock Port and handed over to Task Force members who escorted them to the Detention Centre for processing.
