TCI: Financial Crime Unit Charge 46-year-old man
#Grand Turk, December 11, 2018 – Turks and Caicos – The Financial Crime Unit of the Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police Force has formally charged a 46-year-old man on Friday, December 7th, 2018.
- Two counts of uttering a forged document
- One Count of obtaining a pecuniary advantage in the amount of one hundred and Thirty- four thousand, five hundred and sixty- three dollars and seventy -three cents ($134,563.73).
- One count of possession of criminal property.
The 46-year-old man was taken before the Chief Magistrate on Friday, December 7th, 2018 and granted bail in the sum of US$80,000.
A sufficiency hearing is scheduled to take place on Grand Turk in February of 2019.
