TCI: Police investigation – Burglary
#Providenciales, November 26, 2018 – Bahamas – Detectives of the Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police Force are investigating a Burglary incident that occurred at the IGA Gourmet Supermarket located on Gracebay, Providenciales between Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th November 2018.
Around 4:49 am on Sunday 25th November 2018, the complainant reported to 911 that when he arrived at the location he noticed the front glass section broken. The culprit (s) also attempted to broke a second entrance that leads to the main building area; they also tried to broke into the First Caribbean International Bank’s Automated Teller Machine (ATM) but was unsuccessful.
Police responded to the scene where it was confirmed that the Supermarket was secured around 10:30 pm on Saturday 24th November 2018. The scene was processed. Nothing reported stolen.
The investigation is ongoing into this report.
