TCI: 2016 Post Election Report – Part II

#Providenciales, November 17, 2018 – Turks and Caicos – The Integrity Commission hereby publishes Part II of the 2016 Post Election Report, focusing on the Expenditure of the three (3) Registered Political Parties and ten (10) Independent Candidates, during the General Election Period, (October-December), of 2016.

All documents were submitted by the Treasurers of the Registered Parties and the Independent Candidates within the allotted time-frames, however, the Commission was unable to carry out the analysis of the documents, due to the hurricanes of 2017, and the subsequent urgent demands placed on the analyst.

The analysis of the documents submitted by the Treasurers of the Registered Parties and the Independent Candidates, was completed in September of 2018, and, the Commissioners approved the report and analysis for publication in October of 2018.

This report is based on the expenditure reported to the Commission, by the Treasurers of the Registered Parties and the Independent Candidates.

The total expenditure reported by the Treasurers of the Registered Parties, as to the best of their knowledge at the time of submission deadlines, was $818,832.00.

The total expenditure reported by all ten Independent Candidates was $102,552.00.
