Man in Grand Turk, charged with Firearm Offences

#Grand Turk, November 1, 2018 – Turks and Caicos – Officers of the Serious Crimes Unit of the Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police formally arrested and charged a 28 -year-old man on Tuesday, October 30th, 2018 for the offence of Inflicting Bodily harm, Discharging a Firearm and Possession of a Firearm.

The man appeared in Court yesterday, Wednesday, October 31st, and was granted bail in the sum of US$14,000 bail with conditions.

A Sufficiency Hearing is scheduled in the Supreme Court in Grand Turk in January 2019.
