BAHAMAS: HMBS Lawrence Major transports equipment and materials for the installation of a Meteorological Doppler radar

Coral Harbour Base, November 12, 2018 – Bahamas – The Royal Bahamas Defence Force Auxiliary vessel, HMBS Lawrence Major, departed  Coral Harbour Base on Saturday, November 10th,  to transport equipment and materials for the installation of a Meteorological Doppler radar in Long Island on behalf of The Bahamas Meteorological Department.

The Doppler Radar will be installed on the Island as part of that Department’s weather radar coverage system for The Bahamas.
