Turks and Caicos Hotel Tourism Association (TCHTA) and Tourist Board Addresses Demise of Guest

#Providenciales, October 27, 2018 – Turks and Caicos – The Turks and Caicos Tourist Board and Turks and Caicos Hotel and Tourism Association are paying close attention to the recent developments involving the death of Marie Khulna whilst visiting our shores.  We join with the Minister and Ministry responsible for Tourism, in extending deepest sympathy to the Khulna family and assure them of our prayers and support as they go through this time of bereavement.

We would like to take this opportunity to assure the travelling public that the Turks and Caicos Islands remains one of the safest destination in the region if not the world.  This was confirmed by a recent release from the Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police.

The safety and security of residents and visitors remains our paramount interest and we are working closely with all of the relevant authorities to ensure that the perpetrators of any crime against our guest and our people are brought to justice.
