TCIG Capital Programme FY 2018/2019 – Update #2

#Providenciales, October 25, 2018 – Turks and Caicos – Subsequent to the approval of the Appropriation Ordinance for FY 2018/2019 on Monday, 16 July 2018, the Contracts and Corporate Performance Management Unit (CCPMU) within the Office of the Deputy Governor is pleased to advise that for the Turks and Caicos Islands’ Capital Programme, six (6) batches of Invitations to Tender (ITTs) have been released to date.

Thus far, twelve (12) ITTs for Capital Projects, equivalent to twenty-three (23) contracts, were published at a total value of $16,258,866.00. Ten (10) of the published ITTs have since closed.

In addition, following completion of the reviews by the established evaluation panels and approvals by the Procurement Board, the Cabinet have noted a total of seven (7) contracts to date.

The following open ITTs are scheduled to close on Wednesday, 14 November 2018:

  • DECR and Tourism Facilities – Front Street Vendor Market, Tender Reference Number TR 18/19
  • Fire Truck and Equipment, Tender Reference Number TR 18/20

 

Two (2) batches, marking the final ITTs for FY 2018/2019, are scheduled for release on the following dates:

  • Wednesday, 31 October 2018
  • Wednesday, 14 November 2018

Potential tenderers are reminded to ensure that their Business Licences, Certificates of Registration, Certificates of Good Standing and other prequalification requirements are up to date.

Potential tenderers are also encouraged to attend Pre-Tender Meetings during which the requirements of ITTs will be reviewed in detail and the procurement process explained. Notices for these meetings will be published on the Turks and Caicos Islands Government’s website at https://www.gov.tc/other-procurement-notices.
