Provo woman reports feeling Haiti earthquake to Magnetic Media tonight!

#Providenciales, October 6, 2018 – Turks and Caicos – “8:17pm sharp! I felt scared.” In the area of down town Provo, the long time resident just minutes ago shared, “I was watching TV and I feel something so I scared and ask you.”

We checked and the US Geological Survey website indeed has reported that there was an earthquake measuring 5.9 on the richter scale that hit Port de Paix, Haiti at 8:11pm, tonight.

Images from USGS website shows Turks and Caicos and southern islands of The Bahamas were likely to have felt the tremors.
