Less illegal sloops, Bahamas to be invited to TCI for bi-lateral talks

#Providenciales, October 29, 2018 – Turks and Caicos – The now working radar is helping explained the Minister of Border Control Sean Astwood; helping to keep illegal sloops at bay.

There has been a marked decrease in illegal boats from nearby Haiti but TCI law enforcers are on heightened alert due to the unrest in Haiti, said the Deputy Premier during his report at the National Security Council meeting held last week.

The Bahamas will also be invited to the Turks and Caicos for bi-lateral talks on cooperation strategies aimed at stymieing illegal migration.
