#Providenciales, September 18, 2018 – Turks and Caicos – A man convicted of multiple gun related crimes is out on bail until his sentencing; Dominic Swann was found guilty by a jury in Providenciales last week Thursday after two days and at least two sessions of deliberation by the jury.

Swann is accused of firing a gun after another man; possession of the gun and using it to cause fear were leveled against the Grand Turk native.  The case has received much attention due to the family connections of young Swann, who is the brother of the Deputy Governor of the Turks and Caicos Islands.

Swann earlier this year was facing bribery charges and an allegation of witness tampering in another case; his trial held in Grand Turk Supreme Court had a not guilty outcome.

Some have expressed to Magnetic Media that they believe it was wise of the Director of Public Prosecutions Office to move Dominic Swann’s trial this time around to the Providenciales Supreme Court.
