Favorite Things – The Jane & Marcus Bethel $100,000 Scholarship Established at UB

Here is another one of my Favorite Things – August 9, 2018 – Bahamian icons in business and education and family will be immortalized at the University of The Bahamas thanks to their children.  The Jane and Marcus Bethel Scholarship fund will give entry level UB hopefuls and university field trips a boost and tangible financial support.

The Bethels were described as believing in the transformative power of Education.  The donation to UB was made by son of Jane and Marcus Sr, former Senator Marcus Bethel and his wife Chantal and their children at a press conference in July.
