Here is one of my Favorite Things – August 9, 2018 – A Canadian company is proposing to bring new life to West End with a $2.5b dollar project which was announced in the settlement this Summer. A town hall meeting was where the Bahamas government told the people of the original first city of Grand Bahama Island that Skyline Investment was very interested in building three hotels, 150 slip marina, residential village, casino, airport and a commercial shopping district as a first of its kind smart city. Bahamas Prime Minister Hubert Minnis toured the recently bought 2000 acres of property where the billion dollar development is expected to go.
