Company out of China wins bid to build new bridge for the Panama Canal

#Panama, August 1, 2018 – Diplomatic ties established with China by Panama in 2017 are reaping serious infrastructural investments.  A 4-mile bridge is coming for Panama and the contract was won by a Chinese company, which will get started this year on the construction.  China Communications Construction Co Ltd and China Harbour Engineering Company Ltd reportedly won the $1.42 billion contract for a six car lane and two-way metro line bridge.  It will be the fourth bridge for the Panama Canal according to the Panamanian government.  The bridge is projected to be built in three years.
