#Nassau, August 14, 2018 – Bahamas – Comrades and well-wishers came out in full support for Defence Force Chief Petty Officer Johnny Webb during a medical fund raising event for his daughter on August 11 at Goodman’s Bay.

Using the theme “Fighting Lupus, Finding Hope,” family, friends and well-wishers of Jonique Webb gathered near the beach site on West Bay Street to participate in a one-mile Fun Run/Walk race.  At the end of the race, participants did not receive trophies or awards, rather the pride of supporting a friend in need.

Chief Petty Officer Webb is thankful for the love and support of the Royal Bahamas Defence Force, and the Officers and Marines who took part in the event.  As his daughter continues to find strength and courage during her illness, the 32-year veteran is thankful for the outpouring of love.
