Invest Turks and Caicos Agency sharper, Conway Foreign Direct Investment Training seminar shares best tools

#New York City, NY – July 13, 2018 – United States – The team at Invest Turks and Caicos Agency continues to sharpen its understanding of the world of investment, this past May, Invest TCI staff participated in a training seminar aimed at giving the Agency critical keys to navigate in the highly competitive investor marketplace.

FDI International Economic Development Training Seminar is hosted by Conway; globally renowned for its network of corporate decision-makers who invest more than $400 billion each year in new facilities, offices and sites.  Conway’s full spectrum of services and relationships with corporate decision-makers around the world facilitates government attraction of foreign and domestic direct investment.

Invest Turks and Caicos Agency sent a delegation of three; Trina Adams-Smith, VP of Marketing and Promotion; Rochelle Thompson, Investment Services Executive and Hezron Henry, Marketing Support Officer for the two-day rigorous training.

The exposure was phenomenal and included sessions on the ‘dos and don’ts on attracting Asian investment; objectivity in surmising the existence of a truly competitive edge; the digital performance and digital footprint of investment offices and sessions focused on critical thinking on how to build TCI’s investment brand and improve its investment profile.  It also stimulated thought on one’s own personal and professional development and how it affected the performance outputs.

The FDI Seminar was an intense two days of honest review and potentially ground-breaking knowledge that will help to enhance the Agency’s readiness to welcome Foreign Direct Investment.

Commenting on the training, Vice-President of Marketing and Promotion, Trina Adams-Smith, stated that the staff found the training invaluable. Smith when on to say that, “the knowledge passed on from industry expertise was enlightening and beneficial” and that the Agency hoped to implement a number of the best practices highlighted during the training.

It was the inaugural participation of Invest Turks and Caicos Agency at the FDI International Economic Development Training Seminar.
