From the Turks and Caicos now… A third year for Cabaret, a Broadway-styled show, which is a major fundraiser for the Turks and Caicos Friends of the Arts.  This year, organizers say those who support Cabaret, which is this coming weekend will enjoy seeing new dancers and new numbers.

“We want to bring awareness about the new styles that are on island like Bollywood, Contemporary, Zumba, and hopefully bring people into the classes for them to have fun and get motivated.” – Ainara Varela, Organizer- Cabaret & more

Half the proceeds of Cabaret will support the programs of Friends of the Arts

#Dancing brings us happiness and we’re very passionate about it and we want to motivate people and inspire people to have that feeling that we have when we’re performing.  And also you know you break into a sweat, you lose weight and you meet new people, so it’s a winner.”

Cabaret is on Friday July 6, with ticket prices varying… among the places to get a ticket is Unicorn Bookstore and Arts Provo.  Brayton Hall is the venue, curtain opens at 8pm.

I want everyone to come and support the Friends of the Arts Charity and I want people to have a great time, to get inspired and hopefully enroll in classes later on and just have a good time really.”

Happy Independence America, 242 years strong.
