#Providenciales, June 21, 2018 – Turks and Caicos – Cable & Wireless TC Ltd/Flow TCI, full service communications and entertainment provider in the Turks and Caicos, today announces the recent hire of the company’s first female Field Service PABX Technician, Ms. Ordemia Hall, within the Service Support Delivery Department at the Flow Headquarters in Providenciales, effective June 1, 2018.

Commenting on Ordemia’s appointment, Flow TCI Country Manager, Mrs. Delleriece Hall said: “It is an interesting cultural evolution to now welcome a female technician to the Flow TCI team, and we believe this will set a precedent within the telecommunications industry.  In a sector assumed to be exclusively male it is particularly encouraging to see a female candidate coming forward to take on this role.”

In July 2016, Delleriece made history after having been appointed the company’s first female Country Manager, succeeding Mr. James Pitt. Almost three years later, the company welcomes the ITT Technical Institute Computer and Electronics Engineering Technology graduate, to join the ranks of the company’s talented customer experience team.

After six (6) years managing network and technology related operations in the hospitality industry, Ordemia has decided to resign from her former post at Parrot Cay Resort and transition into what she describes as something new and challenging.

“My passion ignited for computers and technology at the age of 15, so being able to work in this field for the nation’s top full service communications provider is a dream come true.  I am grateful for this opportunity and I intend to work hard to further develop my career within what is acknowledged as a very progressive and dynamic organisation,” remarked Ordemia, on her recent appointment.

In her role as PABX Technician, Ordemia will be responsible for interpreting and validating technical issues, and test solutions, completing business line repairs and PABX installations, repairing and installing single lines and business lines for business customers, and providing high quality and in depth technical support in a timely manner consistent with department and team service levels and goals.

Congratulations are extended to Ordemia, and best of luck as she embraces the opportunity to thrive in her new role.
