BAHAMAS: Seminars Underway for CARICOM Results-Based Management System

#Nassau, June 26, 2018 – Bahamas – High Commissioner of The Bahamas to CARICOM, H.E. Reuben Rahming, met with officials of the CARICOM Community Secretariat on Monday, June 25, 2018 at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.  Seminars are being held over the next few days with various stakeholders and decision-makers in the country to facilitate a CARICOM Results-Based Management System.

The conclave is part of CARICOM’s mandate to enable members in the region to have a more cohesive and strategic response in issues that affect the region including disaster management, education and infrastructure, with the objective to promote the principles of managing for development results and furthering the regional integration process.

Over the next few days, the team will meet with stakeholders in a cross-section of industries including: Directors and Heads of Department, CSME Focal Point, representatives of National Authorizing Offices (NAO) & National Statistics Offices (NSO) and key Public Sector agencies.  They will also meet with Non-State actors: International Development Partners, Private Sector, NGOs and the Media.
