#Providenciales, June 20, 2018 – Turks and Caicos – The Ports Authority of the Turks and Caicos Islands (PATCI) and its Board of Directors, will host its first Annual General Meeting and Cocktail Reception Wednesday 20th June 2018, at the Blue Haven Conference Center at 7pm on Leeward, Providenciales, Turks and Caicos Islands. The AGM will include a review of port performance for the recent years, discussion of priorities for the medium term and will also include recognition of stakeholders and their contributions to the development of the ports system.
The Ports Authority, a government statutory body with broad responsibilities of the country’s waterways and lighthouses, plays a strategic role in the development of domestic and international trade. The ports system consists of three main commercial ports on Grand Turk, South Caicos and Providenciales and minor ports on North Caicos and Salt Cay.
