TCI: Beaches Employees To Showcase Top Talent at Annual Festival of the Arts

#TurksandCaicos, May 16, 2018 – Providenciales – Employees at Beaches Turks & Caicos lit the French Village Stage on fire as finalist strutted, sang and danced their way to the 2018 Sandals Resorts International [SRI] Festival of the Arts regional finals.

Lynn Delancy  and Evanz Inelus emerged as top Female and Male vocalist as they sang their way into the hearts of judges with their amazing vocals.  While, Entertainment’s  Deidre Davis and William Fulford strutted their way to the top with their model behavior by showcasing their perfectly toned bodies in two wardrobes, which included swimwear and formal attire.

Twiston Forbes won the spoken words category, while Katherine Jimenez and Eric Soriano excel in the dance group category.  Jean Nicholas won the DJ Clash segment and Charles Hugues of the watersports Department performs in the instrumental musical category.

Spearheaded by the Director of Entertainment David Ellis, Festival of the Arts, competition was created to showcase the vast array of talents present within the company.

Festival of the Arts creates a platform for our talented team members at Beaches Turks and Caicos to showcase talents across several areas of the performing arts,” Ellis said,  “Beaches Turks & Caicos  realized the need to show these local talents and has created an avenue to not only perform at regional level but also to reward participating team members for their abilities.”

This year the resort was able to secure top judges for this year’s competition. The tough responsibility fell upon Fashion Designer Kadrica Hamilton-Wynn, Real Estate guru and fashionista Michelle Swann,  Musician Maurice Clarke, Entertainment Director for the Turks & Caicos Collection Hotels Davon Crowe and TCI Most Wanted DJ Shakes.

 Beaches and Sandals International Festival of the Arts, will take place June 2-9 in St, Lucia,  where finalist go on to compete against the regional winners from  Sandals/ Beaches Resorts in Jamaica, St. Lucia, Antigua, and the Bahamas for the International crown.
