BAHAMAS: Minister of Finance Presents “Landmark Budget” in the House of Assembly

#Bahamas, May 31, 2018 – Nassau – Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance the Hon. K. Peter Turnquest presented the 2018/2019 Budget Communication in the House of Assembly this morning, centred upon ‘Implementing the Government’s Policy Agenda and Securing Core Fiscal Objectives.’

Minister Turnquest holds the briefcase that contains the “landmark Budget,” as he described it.  Prime Minister, Dr. the Hon. Hubert Minnis is pictured just right of Minister Turnquest, as they walked to the House of Assembly accompanied by Cabinet Ministers and other officials of the government.
