#TurksandCaicos, May 09, 2018 – Grand Turk – Scores of Anglican Church Men exhibited the love of the Body of Christ when they gathered and then got out into the community with outreach.  The move was welcomed in storm wearied Grand Turk, the capital of the Turks and Caicos Islands, which was lashed by hurricanes Irma and Maria.

“We’re here to show our support to the Turks and Caicos islands with our young men, doing some mentoring in the high school, doing some clean up work around the church, we’re on the talk show expression, and the community at large to show our support and to help where ever we can.” – Godfrey Been-  Pres. ACM Providenciales

The group which arrived in GT via cruise ship was a combination of the Turks and Caicos and The Bahamas; family in ministry as a part of one district of the Anglican Diocese.  Meetings were held at St Mary’s Pro Cathedral.

“That’s one of the key focuses for myself as President and for the organization, to really look at men, to have them be disciples for Christ in the way that they live, within their families, within their communities, in their business places, and to really be that warrior for God that we need here in this kingdom.” – Dwight Gibson – Pres. Anglican Church Men (Bah/TCI)

John Moss – Youth Outreach

“Nobody wants you on a job, their job, mashed up, unprepared, ungroomed, so start to behave yourself today, start to take better care of yourself, make sure your hair is groomed, it all starts with the basics.  Take a look at the gentlemen around you, we’re on a crew ship, limited irons, limited whatever, but before they came here to meet you, they did what needed to be done so that their presentation as they walk in, speaks for them.” – John Moss – Youth Outreach.

The 56 brothers were keeping up a decades old tradition of the Anglican Christian Men or ACM and proved the impact men of one heart, one mind and one body in one single day.
