#TurksandCaicos, April 14, 2018 – Providenciales – POLICE SEEK PUBLIC’S HELP IN SOLVING A STRING OF BURGLARIES

 Police on Providenciales are asking the public to come forth with information into a Burglary that was reported on Tuesday, April 10th, 2018.  The complainant reported that he secured his Long Bay Hills home on the said date, and upon returning a few hours later he met his home broken into. Missing, one Xbox valued USD$400, a GoPro camera valued USD$400, two game controllers valued $USD70 each, one purple GPS watch valued US$400, one White IPAD mini valued $USD400, one Black Samsung phone valued $USD50, one black vita handheld system secured in a black padded case that included game valued US$700 AND USD$300 in cash.

A Burglary took place on Grand Turk this Wednesday, April 11th, 2018 according to Police Reports.  It was reported that a container, located at a renovated home in South Back Salina was burgled.  Missing were paints, peel and seal and nails; value unknown.

Also, on Wednesday, April 11th, 2018, Police Officers on Providenciales received reports of a Burglary at Hawksbill Lane.  The complainant stated that upon arriving home he discovered his home ransacked.  Missing were Jewelry, four bottles of Champagne, Three bottles of Scotch, four pairs of Sunglasses one YSL, one Dior, two Prada, one Ipad, one Cartier Watch, one Ipad Mini, one Olympus Camera, one Onkyo receiver, one Fendi Purse, one Gucci Purse, one Giuseppe Zanotti shoes, one YSL shoes, along with women’s clothing.  The total value is unknown.

Police are investigating a Burglary that was reported to the 911 Centre at 6:00 a.m., on Thursday, April 12, 2018, at a Flower Shop, located on the Leeward Highway. The complainant discovered the Flower Shop ransacked and was unable to state what was missing at the time.

Another Burglary was reported on Thursday, April 12th, 2018 at 6:00 a.m., to 911.   According to the report, the Wesleyan Methodist Church in Blue Hills was burgled. It is unsure what was missing at the time.   Investigations are ongoing.

Reports to the 911 Center on Thursday, April 12th, 2018 are that the TCI Community College was burglarized. A number of items are said to be missing. This matter is still under investigation.

Police are investigating the Burglary of a Variety Store on Bay Road Providenciales, which was reported around 6:00 a.m., on Thursday, April 12th, 2018. Missing were five boxes of Miss Birdie Easter Buns at USD$21 each, one box of Snickers valued USD$60 and sodas.

The Community Fellowship Academy was broken into according to reports to the 911 Centre on Thursday, April 12th, 2018.  Upon arriving at the school at around 8:00 a.m., it was discovered that the metal bars were bent.  Missing is an unknown amount of cash.
