Man missing for two days found dead at home, TCI Police launch investigation

#Providenciales, Turks and Caicos – Thursday April 5, 2018 – A man in his 40s was found dead in his Juba Sound apartment on Thursday after not showing up for work, reportedly for two days.  The man, said to be the brother of a former PDM government minister was working as a security officer at the Gansevoort Resort at the time of his shocking passing.  

“Police are investigating after a man was found dead at his Providenciales apartment. The man’s body was found shortly after 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 5th, 2018. It is unclear how long the body was in the apartment before being discovered.”

TCI Police today confirmed the discovery, but have cautioned that their investigation is ongoing and a cause of death has not yet been ascertained.  A press statement this afternoon also said:  “Please be advised that the circumstances surrounding the death of the man are unknown and further details will not be given at this time, as investigations are in the preliminary stages.” 

Family and friends are said to be shocked by the death of the man, who is also from Provo.
