#TurksandCaicos, April 18, 2018 – Providenciales – Flow TCI customers are now experiencing even faster mobile and fixed service speeds thanks to the comprehensive network restoration and upgrades which the company has embarked upon across the islands since the major Hurricanes last year.

We have accelerated the restoration work and upgrades, and we are making great progress, as the restoration work nears completion,” said Delleriece Hall, Country Manager, Flow TCI.  “To date, we have significantly upgraded our distribution network in Providenciales making it possible for most customers to access Superfast Broadband and Flow TV.  The community of Five Cays will have full access by April 15th.”

The Country Manager also said, “Optimization work, or the final fine-tuning process is ongoing and customers will experience an increase in speeds on both mobile and fixed services.  We are also excited to announce that customers in Grand Turk will soon experience the superfast and reliable speeds as we roll out Fibre to the Home (FTTH), the latest generation ultra-high speed broadband connection.’”

Hall went on to add that the new distribution network will be robust and deliver much higher broadband speeds to the customer’s premises.

“To date, our mobile network has been fully restored around the islands with 4G LTE coverage now available in South Caicos, Grand Turk, Salt Cay, Providenciales, and Kew, North Caicos” she said.

The Company official confirmed that restoration of fixed services is still ongoing in some areas, as Flow continues to resolve a number of faults and installation service orders reported post Hurricanes Irma and Maria.  Though steadily improving, the process has faced a few delays in the arrival of some equipment needed for necessary repairs.  Flow teams continue to work around the clock to restore services as quickly as possible to the affected communities.

Existing customers who are without broadband service are encouraged to call 611 before, during or after store hours to report a fault, or to visit ANY Flow agent to sign up for new services.  The Company has promised to provide more updates as the next phase of the restoration exercise begins.
