Digicel TCI Lighting Up Customers with Fibre to The Home and LTE

#TurksandCaicos, April 23, 2018 – Providenciales – Digicel’s ongoing network upgrades in Turks & Caicos (TCI) are expected to propel the Islands to the forefront of technology.  This is in keeping with the company’s focus of building back better after the damage to the network, in the wake of last year’s storms.  In fact, the network upgrades, which consist of a first-to-market, full Fibre to the Home (FTTH) build out and an expansion of its LTE platform, is nearing completion.  Customers can look forward to taking advantage of the best the country has to offer in both mobile and home and entertainment services.

Customers across Grand Turk and Providenciales, will experience the difference with Digicel’s Fibre to the Home (FTTH), while customers in all of TCI are already enjoying lightning fast LTE with the expansion of this latest technology to those in South Caicos, Salt Cay and Middle Caicos.

Digicel will make its way to customers in Blue Hills to conduct installations in homes from May 01.  Installers will then move on to Venetian Road from May 18 and Five Cays from May 31 to connect homes to the new FTTH service.   Areas such as: Grand Turk, Long Bay and Cooper Jack Bay will have their installation dates announced in the coming weeks.
