BAHAMAS: Service of Thanksgiving for the Life of Sir Durward Knowles at Queen’s College

#Bahamas, April 19, 2018 – Nassau – A Service of Thanksgiving celebrating the long and fruitful life of the late Sir Durward Knowles was held at Queen’s College in the Geoffrey Brown Auditorium on April 13, 2018.  The service honoured a Bahamian Olympian and humanitarian, and acknowledged the significant contribution Sir Durward has made to the school over the years.

Governor General Her Excellency Dame Marguerite Pindling attended the service along with wife of Sir Durward, Lady Holly Knowles, and family members.  Principal of Queen’s College Ms. Andrea Gibson addressed the service that included an assembly of students of all grades, teachers, and administrators.
