39 Detained, following Police and Immigration sweep operation
#Providenciales, Turks and Caicos – April 9, 2018 – The Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police Force in collaboration with the Immigration Department conducted a week long joint operation, which resulted in a number of persons being denied entry into the Turks and Caicos Islands.
Thirty-six (36) females and three (3) males of various nationalities were also detained at a number of Liquor licensed establishments in Providenciales for immigration violations. All were taken into custody.
Further investigations are to be carried out.
