TCIG to Host Educational Sessions on the Tobacco Control Ordinance
#TurksandCaicos, March 8, 2018 – Providenciales -The Department of Mental Health and Substance Dependence within the Ministry of Health, Agriculture, Sports and Human Services wishes to inform the general public of the following dates for its upcoming educational sessions on the Tobacco Control Ordinance.
Grand Turk – 15th March at 10:00 am, Salem Baptist Church Hall
Providenciales – 16th March at 10:30 am, Department of Planning, Conference Room, Emily’s House, Leeward Highway
Owners of Restaurants, Bars, Hotels and anyone involved in the sale of tobacco products are urged to attend this important meeting.
As a means of continuing to protect public health, there will be increased enforcement in this area. Therefore, it is imperative for the public to equip themselves with information so that they are not found in conflict with the law.
