Charges

On Tuesday March 20th 2018, A Police Constable was formally charged with Rape, Indecent Assault and Attempting to Pervert the Course of Justice. The Suspended Officer appeared before the Grand Turk Magistrates Court today, Wednesday March 21st, 2018 and was placed on bail.

 

Arrested

On Monday March 19th, 2018, A Police Constable was arrested on suspicion of theft with a chosen in action.  The Officer was granted bail in the sum of USD$3000.00 and is currently on Administrative Leave.

On Monday March 19th, 2018, a 19-year-old female was arrested for the offence of theft with a chosen in action, following report on February 8th, 2018.  She was placed on USD$3000.00 bail.

 

Burglary

Providenciales Police are investigating a burglary at the Ianthe Pratt Primary School.  The incident was reported to police on Monday March 19TH, 2018.  Missing were a white Epson Projector valued about USD$260.00 and a black speaker set valued about USD$30. The school’s canteen was also burgled. The bandit (s) removed a case of hamburger patties valued USD$46.00.

 

Illegal Entry

On Monday, March 19th, 2018, Provo Police apprehended three undocumented persons from the Downtown area, following reports of sightings of illegals in that area. The illegals were taken to the Detention Centre for processing.
