#TurksandCaicos, March 29, 2018 – Providenciales – We are proud to announce that this year’s proceeds from the 8th Annual Wine Cellar Golf & Fishing Tournament were presented to 3 youth-oriented charitable organizations; the Edward Gartland Youth Centre, Commonwealth Games Association, CARIFTA TCI.
The Edward Gartland Youth Centre is a non-profit organization providing a centre for the youth of Providenciales with activities range from tutoring, to sports and recreation, arts and craft and so much more! This year the Commonwealth Games Association are sending 9 Athletes to Australia to represent TCI in the 21st Commonwealth Games and CARIFTA TCI Committee will be sending 31 Athletes to the Bahamas. We wish all of our athletes the very best of luck and we are already so proud of them.
3 Charities were presented cheques as follows:
Commonwealth Games Association: $ 7,500
CARIFTA TCI: $15,000
Edward Gartland Youth Centre: $18,500
This brings the total donated by the WCGFT Committee to $241,000. We look forward to giving even more next year. This concludes this year’s 8th Annual Wine Cellar Golf & Fishing Tournament Event and Cheque Presentation.
