TCI: Two males arrested in connection to the Snake Hill robberies

#TurksandCaicos, February 13, 2018 – Providenciales – Police seem to be making some headway into their investigations of the crime spree in Snake Hill two weekends ago, yesterday it was reported that a 23 year old local man was arrested since Friday in connection to a robbery on Monday February 5th.  The man is currently remanded at the Chalk Sound Police Station.  A 21 year old was arrested for handling stolen goods which comes from that Monday crime update.

Additionally, the TCI Police are searching for a gunman who robbed two other men on Discovery Bay Road Sunday night.  The police report explains that the suspect wrapped his face in a white cloth and held two men at gun point, robbing them of money and their wallets with identification.  The gunman was described as dressed in a black shirt and brown pants, with a white cloth wrapped around his face.  The culprit fled by foot.

Police press officer, Takara Bain asks that  anyone with information, no matter how small, to please contact the Chalk Sound Police Station at 338-5901 or call Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-8477.

Police were up to last night still looking for that hit and run driver who killed John Parker of Provo and they are investigation a three car smash up from Saturday around 4am.  Thankfully in that case, no one was injured.
