TCI: Marron Sturrup and Jermaine Lowe Appointed As New Planning Development Control Officers

#TurksandCaicos, February 8, 2018 – Providenciales – As a part of efforts to bolster staff in the Planning Department, the Office of the Deputy Governor is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Marron Sturrup and Jermaine Lowe as Development Control Officers in the Ministry of Infrastructure, Housing and Planning, Planning Department.

Both gentlemen hold an Associate Degree in Building and Design  Technology from the Turks and Caicos Islands Community College and Mr. Sturrup also holds a certificate in Electrical/Electronic Engineering and Office Management from the same institution.

Both Mr. Sturrup and Lowe commented that they were pleased to be joining the Planning Department where they could put the knowledge recently gained through the Community College to work and looked forward to being a part of the work of the department.

Deputy Governor Anya Williams commented that she was pleased to welcome both persons to the civil service and wished them much success in their new demanding roles as the Planning Department seeks to enhance its enforcement and other programs across the Turks and Caicos Islands.
