Beaches Resort hosts travel industry STAR Awards

#TurksandCaicos, February 5, 2018 – Providenciales – The S.T.A.R. Awards, the acronym for Sandals Travel Agency Recognition event is always huge and for the second year in recent, times, the STAR Awards were held in The Turks and Caicos Islands.  Governor, Premier, Tourism leaders and Sandals Resorts CEO all brought remarks of gratitude to these industry partners who make all Sandals properties including six diamond resort Beaches Resort Villages and Spa in the TCI, a gleaming success.

Five hundred travel agency professionals convened at the sprawling family all-inclusive on Providenciales for the gala evening where prizes were presented for industry stand outs in social media marketing, excellence in service, longevity in service, top sales for Beaches resorts, top sales for Sandals resorts and inductions into the Sandals Hall of Fame.

And hosting the event in the Turks and Caicos was another feather in the cap for the destination which has seen its leading industry, tourism, rebound commendably following back to back hurricanes in September.
