BAHAMAS: ‘Over-the-Hill Weekend Institute’ Legal Aid Seminar

#Bahamas, February 27, 2018 – Nassau – As part of the Over-the-Hill Community Development Partnership Initiative, the Economic Development and Planning Unit (EDPU) in the Office of the Prime Minister is hosting a series of Saturday seminars for residents and businesses in the Bain and Grants Town and Centreville areas through the “Over-the-Hill Weekend Institute.”

The seminars take place each Saturday morning at the C.R. Walker Auditorium, with partnering agencies and organizations.  The free seminars (no application or registration) are: 24th February, 2018 — Legal Aid Clinic presented by The Bahamas Bar Association; 3rd March, 2018 — Entrepreneurship presented by The Bahamas Agricultural and Industrial Corporation (BAIC) and the Department of Cooperatives; 10th March, 2018 — Financial Literacy, Saving and Budgeting presented by the CFA Society of The Bahamas; and 17th March, 2018 — Grant Writing.
