Travis Robinson Addresses PNBC Mid-Winter Board Meeting

#Bahamas, January 25, 2018 – NassauParliamentary Secretary in the Ministry of Tourism Travis Robinson welcomed the Rev. Jesse Jackson, the American civil rights activist and Baptist minister to the Progressive National Baptist Convention Mid-Winter Board Meeting opening night on Tuesday, January 23, at Meliá Nassau Beach resort.

The night’s programme included a showing of a documentary called “A Peace of Paradise,” based on the late Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s relationship with The Bahamas, particularly the island of Bimini where he wrote two of his noted speeches.  The night’s event attracted residents, locals, international leaders and other invited guests.
