Sex with minor cases open the Supreme Court in TCI
#TurksandCaicos, January 14, 2018 – Providenciales – The first Supreme court jury trial for 2018 gets started on Tuesday January 16th 2018, before Justice Joan Joyner and the panel will hear about an adult accused of sexual intercourse with a minor. The accused in the shocking matter is a woman from Haiti, Josianne 
The trial is expected to last the entire week; Elienne will be defended by attorney Ashwood Forbes. Mr. Forbes is also named attorney for Steffan Prospere. Prospere has reportedly aready plead guilty – sometime late last year – to unlawful carnal knowledge of an under- aged teen girl and his matter was adjourned for sentencing.
The man from Providenciales is out on bail awaiting sentencing for the crime which happened in 2017 where Prospere and two others reportedly had sex with the girl, then between 13 and 15.
