#CaymanIslands, January 22, 2018 – The US Geological Survey reports that a 4.0 magnitude earthquake struck the Cayman Islands on Sunday morning and thankfully there is no report of damage or or injuries.
The earthquake, around 10:22am is said to have hit offshore, 45 miles southeast of East End, at a depth of 4.3 miles. The earthquake in Cayman waters was the second scare for the country in under two weeks, as a much stronger quake in Honduras led to a tsunami warning for regional countries.
