BAHAMAS: RBDF Personnel attend Customs and Excise Church Service

#Bahamas, January 24, 2018 – Nassau – Officers and Marines from the Royal Bahamas Defence Force attended The Bahamas Customs and Excise Annual Church Service this past Sunday 21st January, 2018 at St Barnabas Church.

The Royal Bahamas Defence Force saw fit to loan support to the members of the Customs Department as they assembled to give thanks to God to earmark the start of their national customs week.  Also in attendance was the Acting Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, the Honorable K. Peter Turnquest, as well as the Member of Parliament for Fort Charlotte Mr. Mark Humes.

The Royal Bahamas Defence Force works closely with the Bahamas Department of Customs in the execution of its duties and the members of the Force are endowed with certain powers also under the Customs Act.
