#Bahamas, January 30, 2018 – Nassau – ALIV has entered a 3-year exclusive telecoms sponsorship valued at $45,000 with The Bahamas Financial Services Board (BFSB).  The partnership began in November 2017.  For the duration of the agreement, funds will be donated to The BFSB in either cash or technological services.

Chief ALIV Business Developer Gravette Brown says this partnership with BFSB represents ALIV’s commitment to revolutionary advancements of technology in various fields.

“ALIV believes in innovation and technology and wants to be on the cutting edge of infusing the same into many industries.  The Bahamas Financial Services Board will provide a platform for us to do just that with the financial services world.  We live in a global community which is constantly changing and so this partnership will no doubt assist both organizations in using international best practices.  ALIV always wants to be on the cutting edge as we look at ourselves as more than just a mobile telecommunications company and the BFSB will help with this.”

According to Tanya McCartney CEO & Executive Director of BFSB the partnership is groundbreaking for the board.

“We have formalized a strategic plan to collaborate on matters that are of mutual interest and benefit to both entities.  We have determined to partner on matters relative to financial technology (FINTECH) to create a better understanding of the opportunities within the Bahamas to leverage technology to grow this important financial sector.  Our emphasis will be on education and training.  Together, we will seek to drive the process of developing the strategic plan for FINTECH in the Bahamas.”

As part of the agreement moving forward, ALIV will work closely with BFSB on marketing strategies to support growth, development, sustainability and additional support for BFSB with technological support and integration particularly with the development of FINTECH.
